“Do you realize, it was 12 to 1.  We must take a revenge”; “At last we have our revenge”- this were verses of Mitul M Khan the than captain and one of the founders of IUBAT BLUES.  The first one on the first game played against IIUBAT Gold on 1996 and the second one on the second game against them on 1998 because Gold lost.  This was the result of relentless determination to gain what was there’s.  This is what BLUES are all about being deterministic and bold.

BLUES came into existence on the 21st of June 1996.  This came as a junior tem in the IUBAT arena to compete the mighty Gold.  This was the dream child of our IUBATians, namely Mitul M Khan, Muntasir Jinnah, Sk Mainuddin and Sultan M Ahmed who are now in the 9th Semester.  Presently it has more than 100 members.  It has achieved the football championship by defeating GOLD and JAGUARS of IUBAT community.  The BLUES TT tem was the runner up of the TT tournament and one of its players was the first TT singles tournament runner up.  It is the only team in IUBAT who has a faculty as their Honorary member and advisor, Prof. K A Anwar.

BLUES is the only team with a structured organogram and vision.  The vision of Blues is ‘Together we will be the Best.’  The goal of Blues is ‘success in every field.’  The organogram of Blues is as follows.
 
 

The first President of Blues is Sohel Imroz Syed a renowned keyboardist in the country, student of 8th semester and the first manger is Alimul Alam Chowdhury and the present manger is Ahsanul Haq, a 3rd semester student.  The treasure is Afrins Farid Ahmed, a 8th semester student.  The faculty advisor is Prof. Anwar and student advisors are Shafi M Tanvir and, both are 8th semester student.

The decisions come from top to bottom and feedback goes from bottom up way.  The founders and advisors are the top decision-maker till the constitution is written.  The president is the head off the operative committee along with the office bearers.  Blues believe in vision 20 20 and thus have a very high hope for the future of BLUES.
