COURSE OFFERING
The basic degree requirements at University
of Florida is least 128 credits, including the 62 credit transfer from
IUBAT. In addition, students must have at least a 2.0 grade point average
(on a 4.0 point scale) both in upper division and all credits attempted
at the University of Florida. Departmental requirements must include a
minimum of 13 credits in the department. IUBAT transfer students will be
required to complete a minimum of 66 credit hours at the University of
Florida.

Students are advised to refer to the Undergraduate Catalog of the University of Florida for detailed course requirements for majoring in Agricultural Education and Communication, Agronomy, Animal science, Botany, Dairy Science, Entomology and Nematology, Food and Resource Economics, Food Science and Human Nutrition, Forest Resources and Conservation, Horticultural Science, Microbiology and Cell Science, Plant Pathology, Plant Sciences, Poultry Science and Soil and Water Science. As to admission requirement for iubat transfer students, a student must achieve a TOEFL score of 550 or above and will be required to provide proof of financial support to meet one year educational and living expenses. Besides, a student from IUBAT must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a scale of 4.0) or better in order to be considered for transfer to the University of Florida.
IUBAT students must complete a minimum of 66 credit hours at the University of Florida, in addition to any other courses required for overcoming deficiency, if any. While at the University of Florida, students will pay University of Florida fees and follow the rules and regulations of the university.
IUBAT students must satisfy all the admission requirements of University
of Florida, including TOEFL and financial resources. They are also
responsible for satisfying the entry visa requirements of the pertinent
USA embassy. University of Florida will
consider only those applications who are recommended by a IUBAT official.
